AFI Aeroflight Collaboration
The College and AFI Aeroflight, Spain have reached an initial agreement of collaboration for the candidate selection and training of Air Traffic Controllers.
The candidate assessment and selection process will be carried out at AFI Aeroflight’s facility in Madrid, and the ATC training programme will be delivered at the college’s state of the art training facility in the United Kingdom.
The students will benefit from the College’s unparalleled expertise in air traffic control training, which includes aerodrome control on the company’s 3D dynamic tower simulator. The synthetic platform is the UK’s only approved 3D tower for initial aerodrome control training.
The initial assessment phase is scheduled to take place during the second week in November this year, with the first training programme commencing in January 2011.
